Ferrari’s 24 Hours of Le Mans win celebrated in style at the Italian F1 Grand Prix

Ferrari won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in June and the celebrations continue in Monza this weekend!

The SF-23 entered for the forthcoming Italian Formula One Grand Prix will be adopting the same livery as the Ferrari 499P Hypercar that triumphed in La Sarthe. Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz Jr.’s F1 entries will sport the same V stripes on the nose and engine cover with the team’s distinctive Le Mans red in a matte finish.

Guests of honour Antonio Giovinazzi and Alessandro Pier Guidi, two of the three drivers who triumphed at Le Mans will be showing off their superb 24 Hours of Le Mans Centenary trophy. They will be joined by Antonio Fuocco who claimed pole position by winning the Hyperpole session at the wheel of the #50 499P at Le Mans and clocked the best lap in the race.

A sample of Ferrari’s racing DNA will be on display in the Monza fan zone this weekend. The #51 499P Hypercar is to share the stage with the new 296 GT3 – already a star having won the 24 Hours of Nürburgring in the GT category, and the F2003-GA winner of the 2003 Italian Grand Prix.

No doubt the Tifosi will be out in force to cheer on their team. Ferrari fans and Maranello staff certainly reserved a warm welcome for the two 499Ps on their return from Le Mans.
